CONCLUSION: Most mHealth interventions promoting ART adherence did not comply with the standard reporting guideline. The lack of standardization of mHealth interventions may be responsible for increased siloed mobile applications. CONCLUSIONS: This scoping review confirms the heterogeneity within this research area but also contributes by mapping and demonstrating some knowledge gaps in the literature.
